Because stories create change…

We are storytellers who empower you to use your voice for a better future.

“Until the lion tells the story, the hunter will always be the hero.”

Chinua Achebe shared this beautiful African proverb in Art of Fiction. In our work, we too adhere to this belief that sharing your stories is crucial to reclaiming narratives and changing the system to be more equitable to historically marginalized groups. We complement our stories with real-world data to illustrate the disparity, and offer a toolbox of research-backed strategies to usher in systemic change. Whether it’s to speak at an ERG, a conference, or host a workshop , we’d love to collaborate with you to work towards a better future.

  • We’d love to come speak at your company ERG. These are usually 60 minute conversations typically around leadership and personal development themes under an equity framework. The goal is to empower ERG members to think critically about systems and how to leverage their strengths and network for creating change.

  • For conferences, seminars, and other events, we accept requests for workshops and speeches on specific equity issues, and panel member requests. Past topics for workshops and panels have included, how to be better anti-racist allies, countering anti-Blackness in Asian communities, finding your voice as a person of color, and addressing inequities in academia.

  • We offer customized group workshops (90 - 120 min) for companies and organizations. These cover equity and leadership development, and offer strategies that are catered specifically to the company culture and mission.
